SPECTRAFLIAR BASECOAT PAINT – PRETHINNED, READY FOR USE

Perfect Pearls and Pigments SpectraFlair basecoat is the ULTIMATE holographic paint. SpectraFlair gives you a full spectrum rainbow effect that’s truly amazing.  For the most vivid holographic effect (AS PICTURED) its recommended to be applied over grey/black, however it can be applied over any base colour/dyes to give a custom rainbow holographic effect. Spectraflair is supplied pre thinned and ready to use, so all you have to do is shake/stir and your ready to go.

SpectraFlair basecoat generates the appearance of multiple, bright rainbow producing prisms. The combination of rainbow-like colour, aluminium core, and high pigment flake diameter to thickness ratio of SpectraFlair create the appealing, iridescent, liquid silver metallic appearance. SpectraFlair changes from a typical metallic appearance in low illumination, to vivid, multi-rainbow effects in direct light. SpectraFlair may be used as the sole colorant or combined with other pigments and dyes to create full custom effects.

How to apply

Prepare the job in the same way you normally would – removing imperfections, priming, sanding etc
Stage 1 – Apply grey/black (or colour of choice) basecoat 2-3 coats (full coverage).
Stage 2 – Apply Spectraflair basecoat 3 coats or to achieve final desired effect (3 coats max)
Stage 3 – Apply high quality 2K clear coat/lacquer (as directed by manufacturer).

Please allow each single coat 5-20mins flash off time (drying to a dull finish) before applying next coat
